Dear Family and Loved Ones of the Missionaries of T.H.E. Mission,
As you will read in the Focal Point, Sister Crawford and I recently completed interviews with all the missionaries. While I interview each missionary, Sister Crawford will gather with the missionary or missionaries waiting to be interviewed and discuss topics of importance to the mission and the work. Both of us came away from this interview cycle feeling so good about the missionaries of this mission. There is a spirit of real humility and gentleness in the mission. The missionaries are trying to be obedient and to become more consecrated. They are trying so hard to be the best missionaries they can become. I see such progress in all of this great young men and women. I see progress even with those whose struggles are greater than their peers. I am proud of them for their courage and faith.
I sent you a separate letter regarding the Christmas season so the importance of that message did not get lost in any other communication.
We love your sons and daughters. They are mighty men and women, mighty missionaries for the Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for your faith and prayers.
