I don’t have very much time at all because this is a timed computer! But Beaumont is awesome! We have a really nice apartment, and we are in a trio which is really fun. Elder Hatch is awesome. He is a really hard worker and we agree on all of the mission rules. And he has good, balanced fun. Elder Campbell is funny but… sometimes I just feel like he is thinking about going home. He is about to leave his mission in September and it shows. Yesterday, he did something that drove me crazy. We were asked to fast for our investigators, and he didn’t even fast with us!! He didn’t even care!! I was pretty bothered by it, but I can’t force him to fast!
Yanet (a new one), Yamileth, and Dunia
Anyway, it’s going good. We are in a car, which I don’t like. But we have three ladies we are teaching right now who are sweet!!! Yaneth, Yamileth, and Dunia. They live together. Dunia actually was renting from a man who didn’t want to see us around or he said he would shoot us, and he told her that he would kick her out if she went to church. Well, we set a baptismal date with all of them for the 8th of September, and he kicked her out! But now she lives with the other two ladies so it’s all good 🙂 They came to church yesterday and loved it! They are just feeding off of each other’s testimonies and they are really progressing for baptism!
Sweet Branch
Our branch is sweet. We use an old bank for our meetings. The president is really cool. He served a mission in Uruguay and even though his family doesn’t speak English they got called to serve in that branch. There is lots of work to do but that’s the good part!
