Dear Parents and Loved Ones of the Great Missionaries of the Texas Houston East Mission,
Attached is the latest copy of the Focal Point for T.H.E. Mission. We hope you will find joy in reading and feeling the power of the work of your loved ones.
We have had some very strong months and I believe the Elders and Sisters are working hard at constantly finding more people to teach. They are striving to be the best teachers they can become.
Our mission is much younger now than it was nine months ago and after this coming September the mission will be much younger still. However, I am pleased with the overall strength, discipline, obedience and feeling in T.H.E. Mission at this time.
We love your sons and daughters. We will hold them to high standards. If we love them how could we expect any less from them or ourselves (we really love our missionaries!) We expect their best effort to forget about themselves and focus on the work of the Lord. I will tell you that by forgetting about themselves, they find themselves. In that finding they become so much stronger and more capable than they ever imagined. That is simply how it works.
We appreciate your support and encouragement of your missionary and our missionary. Encourage them to share their spiritual experiences with you. Share your experiences as well. It matters.
